Since 1st of January 2006, within the scope of Business Entities Register, the Serbian Business Registers Agency has started registrations of entrepreneurs.
ENTREPRENEUR - SOLE TRADER (hereinafter: ENTREPRENEUR ) is a person who operates own activity in order to obtain certain profit.
Artistic, old and folk handicrafts are activities that can only be registered as entrepreneurs as a legal form.
Also, as the legal form entrepreneur the following activities can be operated:

manufacture
-
office
-
bureau
-
repair shop
-
agency
-
studio
-
bed and breakfast
-
pharmacy
-
medical practice
-
taxi transportation
-
road transportation
-
restaurants, stores, various sole trader and handicraft services

beauty parlor (cosmetics, hairdressers, manicure, feet care etc).
For example, in order to perform the activity of bankruptcy liquidator, it is necessary to be registered as the entrepreneur.
The person who decides to be registered as an entrepreneur as a legal form, is considered to be a business entity.
Upon registration, entrepreneur decides for one principal activity to be registered in the Agency, but is also allowed to perform other legal activities.
