The Serbian Business Registers Agency (SBRA) hereby informs business entities with a registered email address that the Business Entities Register also delivers documents issued upon application in the registration procedure to the business entity's eMailbox on the eGovernment portal.

We specifically note that decisions made ex officio (i.e. without a request from the applicant) are also delivered to the business entity's eMailbox. A sent decision is considered personally received when the user confirms it by opening the electronic return receipt, at which point legal deadlines for actions begin to run. Delivery via eMailbox is considered official and legally valid.

According to Article 21 of the Company Law (Official Gazette of the RS, Nos. 36/11, 99/11, 83/14 - other law, 5/15, 44/18, 95/18, 91/19, 109/21, and 19/2025), every company (joint-stock, general partnership, limited partnership, and limited liability company) is required to register as a user of eGovernment services, in accordance with the law regulating electronic government, in order to enable the delivery of official documents electronically to the Unified eMailbox on the eGovernment portal.

To register on the eGovernment portal and open the eMailbox, a company must have a registered email address in the SBRA’s Business Entities Register, in accordance with the Law on the Procedure of Registration with the SBRA (Official Gazette of the RS, Nos. 99/11, 83/14, 31/19). If a company has not submitted or updated its email address, it is necessary to do so as soon as possible, in accordance with the law.

To download documents (such as acts, notifications, confirmations, certificates, etc.) delivered to eMailbox, a company's authorized or other representative must log in to the eGovernment portal (https://euprava.gov.rs/) using a qualified electronic certificate (via USB, smart card, or the ConsentID mobile application).

Once logged in, the authorized/other representative may authorize another person to download documents and notifications sent to the company’s eMailbox. The authorized person can then log in with their own qualified electronic certificate or via the ConsentID app and retrieve electronic documents on behalf of the company.

Document delivery to eMailbox may be conducted either as personal delivery or a notification. After a document is sent, the eGovernment system sends a notification to the company’s registered email and to the email addresses of its authorized/other representatives. The document can then be downloaded at any time.

For any questions regarding the Unified eMailbox, please contact the Office for IT and eGovernment through the contact form on the eGovernment portal or via email: office@ite.gov.rs.

To update data on the company’s authorized/other representative in the Business Entities Register, please contact the SBRA at: info@apr.gov.rs.

To update information in the qualified electronic certificate, please contact your trusted service provider listed in the Register of Qualified Trust Service Providers.
