The Register of the Offices of Section Commissioners has been established pursuant to Article 10 of the Agreement Between the Republic of Serbia and the Bureau International des Expositions on Privileges and Advantages Necessary to Facilitate Participation in the International Recognised Exhibition EXPO 2027 Belgrade Serbia (Law on Ratification of the Agreement Between the Republic of Serbia and the Bureau International des Expositions on Privileges and Advantages Necessary to Facilitate Participation in the International Recognised Exhibition EXPO 2027 Belgrade Serbia, RS Official Gazette – International Treaties, No. 10/2025). The Register started its activity on 22 November 2025, and it represents an integrated, electronic, centralized, public repository of data on registered Offices of Section Commissioners.

Expo 2027 Belgrade is the International Recognised Exhibition Expo 2027 Belgrade which will take place in Belgrade, the Republic of Serbia from 15 May 2027 to 15 August 2027.

Office of the Section Commissioner is the temporary legal entity of the Official Participant which has the status of a domestic legal entity in the Republic of Serbia, established solely for the purpose of participating in the Exhibition Expo 2027 Belgrade and registered in accordance with Article 10 of the Agreement Between the Republic of Serbia and the Bureau International  des Expositions on Privileges and Advantages Necessary to Facilitate Participation in the International Recognised Exhibition EXPO 2027 Belgrade Serbia. Official Participant is the State or intergovernmental organisation which has received and accepted the official invitation from the Republic of Serbia to participate in Expo 2027 Belgrade.

The Register records data on the Office of Section Commissioners, any amendments to the registered data, as well as the deletion of data on the Office from the Register, as well as data on the strike–off of the Office from the Register.
