For the purposes of organizing the international exhibition Expo 2027 Belgrade, which will be held in Belgrade from 15 May to 15 August 2027, the Serbian Business Registers Agency has established The Register of the Offices of Section Commissioners.
Starting on 22 November 2025, the Agency will begin maintaining a unified, centralized, public, electronic database on the Offices of Section Commissioners, the temporary legal entities of the official participants of Expo 2027 Belgrade, which have the status of domestic legal entities in the Republic of Serbia and are established for the sole purpose of participating in this internationally acclaimed exhibition.
The Register of the Offices of Section Commissioners was established on the basis of Article 10 of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the International Bureau of Expositions on the privileges and facilities necessary for participation in the internationally acclaimed exhibition EXPO 2027 Belgrade, Serbia (the Law on the Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the International Bureau of Expositions on the privileges and facilities necessary for participation in the internationally acclaimed exhibition EXPO 2027 Belgrade, Serbia, published in the ‘Official Gazette of the RS – International Agreements’, No. 10/2025).
An official participant in the exhibition is a state or an intergovernmental organization that has received and accepted the official invitation of the Republic of Serbia to participate in Expo 2027 Belgrade, and the Register of the Offices of Section Commissioners will include data on the Office, changes to the registered data, as well as the deletion of data on the Office from the Register. This information will be publicly available through a search feature on the Agency’s website.
This Register enables the Offices to do business in the Republic of Serbia, which includes carrying out all necessary actions and procedures for participating in Expo 2027 Belgrade, as well as the act of participating in this international exhibition itself.
